Kayaking Tragedy: 16 y. old Jacob Stover

2021 started with the tragic kayaking accident of 16-year-old Jacob Stover on the Ohio River. KYK9 helped search for Jacob, and K9 Pocket cleared parts of the river that otherwise could not have been searched. She also indicated an area where he might have been, but recovery teams could not access it. The Stover family spent months on the river, searching for their son. Finally, on March 8, Jacob’s body surfaced, and he was recovered. The Stover family held a beautiful memorial to celebrate his life and we send our prayers to them.
