2019 Annual Fund Drive
As you know from our newsletter, KYK9 has had an exciting year. We were filmed by a television show, won a K9 National Award of Merit, were asked to search the Himalayas for missing WWII airmen, and successfully worked challenging cold cases. We also were certified multiple times by the International Police Working Dog Association (IPWDA) whose master handlers are all law enforcement officers.
Today, we are asking for your support during KYK9’s annual year-end fund drive. KYK9 is a 501(c)3 non-profit. KYK9 is not paid by law enforcement for our search services. We depend on donations from individuals who think our work is important. We need your financial help to continue providing KYK9’s nationally-recognized search services. As you know, I recently announced that K9 Scout retired this year, so the torch has been passed to K9 Remy and K9 Pocket. Please help the girls carry K9 Scout’s legacy forward with distinction and honor.
We hope that you will join the KYK9 team this year by making a year-end donation. Thank you for any help and support you can give!
Warm wishes for a happy holiday season,
Jennifer Jordan Hall
K9 Pocket getting custom fit for a snake suit to search for missing WWII airmen shot down in the Indian Himalayas. I realized that the fact that K9 Pocket even needed a snake suit put her in too much danger. You will be glad to know we did not go.
